Congratulations to my two friends who went to the same fancy university as me who, this week, were arrested and charged with serious crimes. You are fucking idiots.

Both of you grew up with extraordinary privilege, only one of you managed to graduate, and this week you fulfilled your destiny by being arrested.

I looked up the records on the state supreme court website and I’d just like to say: you are lucky those charges have been downgraded. If you weren’t from a fancy over-privileged home and couldn’t afford lawyers who knew how to trick you out, you would be going to jail with the poor black kids who got busted with one 1/8 what you did but who didn’t have “National Honors Society” on their plea deal. You are now once again free to go and contribute to society!
